So you thought it was expensive to live in Manhattan? Nyet! The weak-as-water Dollar means that New York has fallen seven places to number 22, in a world cost-of-living survey from Manhattan human resources consulting firm Mercer.
Moscow is currently the priciest city to live in, reports Crain’s New York, followed by Tokyo and London.
On average, a cup of coffee, including service, sets you back about $3.75 in Manhattan, compared with Vancouver ($3.88), London ($4.32), Dublin ($4.42), Amsterdam ($4.05), and Paris ($6.77). Merde!
